Collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano

Last autumn Karizia had the pleasure of welcoming six students of the iDGILUX - International Master in Luxury Innovation and Digital Transformation, a specialisation course organised by the Politecnico di Milano, one of the best universities in the world, and LA SALLE Academy. In fact, the Master’s degree gives students the opportunity to make direct contact with the major key players in the sector, and draw inspiration from their experience with a view to developing viable business ideas.
The students, half Italian and half foreign, visited all the departments of the company to follow the entire production cycle, not only at Karizia, but also Progold Spa, another leading Vicenza-based company in the goldsmith sector that produces alloys for jewellery. Afterwards, the students created a project covering the process of manufacturing the silver chain, from the alloy to the finished product. It proved to be a truly positive experience involving close collaboration between companies, higher education institutions and young minds.
