A nod to all that’s carefree
From long cascading chains to chandelier earrings embellished with small pendants, and from oversized geometrically shaped bracelets to the most essential necklaces suitable for any time of day, the jewellery this year is of eye-catching simplicity. In the limelight will be cuff and bangle bracelets with models that can be worn together.
But the new season will also mark the return of brooches, used both to fasten the hems of fabrics and to adorn a garment or accessory, and of items inspired by childhood, such as elephants, bears, giraffes and baby bottles.
Shapes inspired by nature will also be on show, especially those of the sea: such as shells, fish and seahorses, on necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. Whether ethnic-inspired, innocent in design or voluminous, the prerogative of the jewellery is the same as ever: to shine!
