ISO 14001 certification
Karizia’s is continuing along its path to sustainability. In fact, the year 2023 ended on a high note: with ISO 14001 certification of the company’s Environmental Management Systems.
A public or private organisation can apply for this certification on a voluntary basis to help it identify, manage and monitor the impacts on the ecosystem of its activities, with a view to improving the efficiency and environmental performance of its business.
That said, attention to ecological issues and compliance with ethical standards are certainly nothing new for Karizia, which has been at the forefront of both energy and technological efficiency and the adoption of sustainable practices for production and the supply chain for years. Over the past three years Karizia has also been drafting its Sustainability Report – available to read and download from its website – which states the company’s initiatives and performance from the standpoint of environmental, social and economic impacts.
