A new project for the hospital in Bassano
With the association ELIOS Karizia, which is among the founding members, a new goal is set; the construction of a new generation integrated operating room at the hospital of Bassano del Grappa. Today, minimally invasive surgery is increasingly a video-surgery that, in order to be exercised, requires a new series of specific technologies that require space, and equipment that oblige to review the layout of the traditional operating room. The hospital of Bassano del Grappa, already equipped with innovative instruments and with a great robotic component, thanks to this room becomes the first in Italy to have such instrumentation available. The digital operating room will guarantee precision, minimally invasive surgery, and will give the patient a much quicker post-operative course. Thanks to fiber-optic communication, it will give the possibility to connect with any study or operating room in the world allowing consultations in real time with the best experts. This latest generation digital room puts the doctors of the highest value operating within the San Bassiano, in conditions to work at their best using the best technologies. The social nature of ELIOS onlus aims at improving health quality of citizens as well as the services offered by public facilities.
