The latest requirements set down by the new European regulation on the protection of personal data
Last May the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into force throughout Europe. It is the new regulation that sets the guidelines on the protection of personal data of individuals. The purpose of the directive is to harmonise and update the regulations on privacy throughout the European Union, redefining the approach of companies on the subject in light of the continuous attacks to which companies of all sizes and sectors are now vulnerable. The GDPR sets down many requirements, from the establishment in the company organisation chart of the Data Protection Officer or DPO (Data Protection Officer) to the obligation to report any violations of personal data: all measures for protecting the personal data of users in a more appropriate, effective and secure manner, without any distinction between the processing of data in printed or digital form. Karizia has also implemented all the necessary procedures to adapt to the new provisions, making the company secure even from this point of view.
