Charitable projects and activities
Solidarity is a theme that has always been close to the heart of Karizia, which for many years has been committed to promoting and supporting projects aimed at helping local communities and various local charities. Also last year, Karizia continued to support the activities of three organisations based in the Veneto region: the ELIOS association, the Altre Parole non-profit organisation and the Città della Speranza foundation.
ELIOS, an acronym that stands for Experience, Work, Business, Objective, Health - of which Karizia is one of the founding members - is an association set up by entrepreneurs from the Pedemontana Veneta region with the aim of developing medical-scientific projects by bringing together local excellence in the health sector and industry.
The association “Altre Parole” (Other Words) contributes to the spread of a culture of humanisation in oncological care, promoting the importance of listening to the patient and introducing elements of lightness into daily care, to help people regain possession of a life that seemed lost.
Città della Speranza (City of Hope) aims at improving the conditions of care and support for children with oncohaematological diseases, funding scientific research in paediatrics.
